“The Three Little Pigs: A Tale from the Time the Forest Disappeared” retells a well-known story through the eyes of a mother who is also an artist. The exhibition looks at what it means to be a mother in a world facing an environmental crisis. Using The Three Little Pigs as the main story, it connects memories, recycled materials, technology, and imagination.

The exhibition has four parts. It starts with paintings showing the fast and busy lives of the first and second pigs — a reflection of how people today often look for quick comfort or easy solutions. Then comes a performance art piece where the artist plays the mother of the pigs. She builds a house from recycled cardboard and copies lines from Walden, linking a mother’s love with simple living and harmony with nature.

The recorded performance is later turned into video art, using AI to retell the story in a new and changing way. The audience can imagine, interact, and think about their own part in caring for the Earth’s future. In the last part, the artist uses photos from the performance to create a new picture book that mixes the fairytale with modern environmental ideas.

In the end, this exhibition is not just about telling an old story again—it’s a gentle reflection on how fragile our world is, and a hopeful message about building a more sustainable future, through the figure of a mother as storyteller, artist, and healer of the Earth.
