I am a painter deeply immersed in the process of painting. For me, it is the most powerful way to transform thoughts and emotions into tangible, visual form.
As an introverted artist, I feel fortunate to be living in the digital age. This era allows me to connect with people across the globe through social networks. Technology has transformed the screen—whether a computer, smartphone, or tablet—into a space for global interaction, eliminating the need for physical presence.
In this context, the digital world is not merely a communication tool, but a new way of seeing. We can explore distant places from our seats, travel through virtual landscapes, and access glimpses into others' lives via the constant stream of shared images. I am fascinated by the way technology delivers not only information and imagery but also a sense of identity and presence directly to the viewer.
This shift in perception and interaction with the world has become a central inspiration for this body of work. I collect images from social media—photos that carry personal meaning or emotional resonance—and reinterpret them as two-dimensional artworks.
Each piece exists in two forms: one as a traditional painting exhibited in a gallery, and the other as a digital photograph of that painting shared on my social media account.
By tagging the original users (individuals) in my work, I reflect on the relationship between the image source, the audience, and the artist within the digital context. This series seeks to question the boundaries between private and public, virtual and physical, the observer and the observed.
